Qualify Against ICP
The qualification gate: only ICP-fit companies pass before you spend credits.
Use when a sourcing step produced a set of companies (a LinkedIn/job scrape, a people/company search, an uploaded list) and you're about to spend credits enriching or sequencing. Run this gate first so only ICP-fit companies pass downstream.
source → qualify(ICP) → enrich → sequence → CRMWhere it runs
Qualification is reasoning done by your own Claude (the agent running the skill), reading
the client's local ICP.md. No server call, no credits for the judgment itself, credits
are spent only on the optional firmographic lookups in Step 1 and on enriching the passes.
Inputs
companies: from the sourcing step; each ideally carriesname,domain/website, and any firmographics the source returned (industry, size, location, job context).ICP.md: the client's Ideal Customer Profile, built by/icpand stored in the working directory. If it's missing, tell the user to run/icpfirst, don't silently skip the gate.
Steps
Hard filters (data rules, no LLM, ~free)
Read the firmographic constraints from ICP.md (Industry, Company Type, Stage & Size,
Geography, explicit exclusions) and apply them to the data you already have. Optionally
backfill missing firmographics with a cheap lookup before judging.
Soft scoring (LLM judgment)
For survivors of the hard filters, score fit against the ICP's qualitative signals → pass / borderline / reject.
Pass downstream
Only passes proceed to enrichment and sequencing: the gate is what keeps credit spend proportional to fit.
This gate is the cheapest lever you have. A few minutes of free reasoning up front avoids paying to enrich companies that were never going to fit.
